About VenU

Spaces for every story.

VenU connects hosts, vendors, and guests across Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. We're building a marketplace where the door is open to everyone — full stop.

Our commitment

Diversity & equal opportunity

VenU is committed to building a platform, a team, and a community where everyone is welcome, respected, and given a fair chance to succeed. We believe great venues, great events, and great businesses are built by people of every background — and we design VenU to reflect that.

Equal opportunity

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, marital or family status, pregnancy, disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. This applies to hiring, vendor onboarding, listings, promotion, pricing, and every interaction on VenU.

Inclusive marketplace

Hosts and vendors on VenU agree to serve guests fairly and welcome bookings from all communities. We actively support small, women-owned, minority-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, veteran-owned, and disability-owned businesses in growing their presence on the platform.

Accessibility

We work to make VenU usable for people with a wide range of abilities and assistive technologies, and we encourage venues to publish accurate accessibility details — step-free entry, seating options, sensory considerations — so every guest can plan with confidence.

Safety & respect

Harassment, hateful conduct, and discriminatory refusals of service have no place here. Reports are reviewed by our team, and confirmed violations lead to removal from the platform.

How we hold ourselves accountable

  • · We review policies, onboarding, and moderation practices as VenU grows.
  • · We listen to feedback from hosts, vendors, and guests, and update this page as our practices evolve.
  • · We take reports of discrimination or accessibility barriers seriously and act on them.
